When Rainbows Come

It's been an eventful summer.
For all of us.
You, and I.
You've seen my photo posts;
words are elusive of late.

I've learned a few things
as I reflect
in the heart of the canyons here...

that I have missed you.
I've visited your blogs and
tasted cups of love
and the touch of your hearts.
I'm glad to walk with you
as we travel together.

that with the many storms facing us,
we are none of us alone.

that sometimes
after a storm
comes the most beautiful rainbow.

even more than one.

There may or may not be pots of gold,
but the rainbows are gratifying enough.
And riding those rainbows
have brought incredible wild joy

  1. So glad to have you back (the last post slipped right by me - sorry!), and you have aptly described our travels together as fellow bloggers. I'm so pleased to have been sharing some of the journey with you here and via our emails. And what awesome photos! The ones of the rainbows are magnificent!

  2. Thanks Linda; these rainbows happened right outside our door Friday night; so much fun! Glad to be traveling with you :)

  3. Lovely photos. Lovely to find you here - hoping it becomes a more frequent occurrence again. I've missed you.

  4. Hello Deb; thanks for stopping by, I've missed you too! Glad you are happy yoga-ing :)

  5. I've been behind also, but I've missed your posts. I don't mind looking at photos either. Stories to tell in beautiful pictures.

  6. Hello Julie; you've been experiencing some loss these days. Hope you are finding peace, sister. I have loved your photo essays and the stories they tell.
